Antique Toizaki & Co Ltd SEXTANT 1832 Marine Navigation Japan Kagiya Yoko 1970's!!
This is a very nice collectors Sextant made by Toizaki & Co Ltd. out of Tokyo, Japan.  This piece appears to have all parts and pieces and remains in functional condition, although some maintenance is likely needed.  This piece also comes with the original dovetail box which is quite nice.  The piece is marked No. 1832 on it and has some blue paint throughout which has mostly worn through exposing the brass underneath.  The mirrors have a definitive aged look to them.
Everything is in good condition overall I would say.  There is a beautiful aged patina to the brass of the piece which is commensurate with the age.  The wooden box is in good shape overall with no major cracks but does have some surface scratches throughout.  The case does come with 2 keys and locks.
The case measures in at 11 1/2" wide, 12 1/4" deep, and 6 3/4" tall.  It all weighs in at 9 pounds, 4.7 ounces total.
